Dell unveils pair of ultra-thin monitors with HDR and InfinityEdge displays

Dell has brought quite the lineup to CES 2022, including new XPS laptops and gaming PCs. But aside from its staff of life-and-butter in the PC space, Dell has besides announced a pair of svelte new ultra-thin monitors that will likely catch more than a few glances.

Dubbed the S2419HM and S2719DM (not the catchiest names in the earth), the pair of monitors come in at 23.8 inches and 27 inches with FHD and QHD resolutions, respectively. Each IPS display can hit up to 600 nits of peak brightness, and Dell is promising deep color reproduction with support for HDR through its new CinemaColor tech. That's in addition to greater than 85 percent coverage and 99 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces, respectively.

Aside from their raw specs, the S2419HM and S2719DM volition virtually likely draw attention to their designs. Each features a pretty slim stand base of operations, but more impressive is the display thinness. At their thinnest point, the displays measure in at five.5mm thick, but that does expand to 29mm thick at their thickest point. Each also features Dell'due south InfinityEdge designation, meaning the bezels around the display are pretty slim, themselves.

If yous're in the marketplace for a new monitor, Dell says that the S2419HM and S2719DM will be available on Jan 30. The S2419HM will exist available for $299.99, while the S2719DM will fetch $499.99.
